Commercial solar panels for farming & agriculture
At Green Building Renewables, we provide a complete agricultural solar panel installation service, from supply to maintenance.
As electricity costs continue to rise, many farmers are turning to solar panels to reduce energy bills and maintain profitability. Farms offer extensive roof and land space, making them ideal locations for large solar PV systems that can offset high daily electricity consumption and protect businesses against future rises in electricity costs. The widespread adoption of solar panels in agriculture attests to their reliability and strong returns.
At Green Building Renewables, we help farmers harness the power of the sun and secure their energy future.
Solar installation at a Brewery
This installation of 108 panels fitted in Colchester is part of a 36 kW system for a Brewery saving the owner £1,000 month in energy bills (reported in September 2022.) The brewery’s high energy requirements for its fermenters, stills and chiller units are now largely offset by the solar panel system and battery storage.
The brewery have installed the panels as part of their carbon reduction program on their ideally-suited barn.
The installation and commissioning were all completed in a couple of days minimising business disruption.
Commercial solar for manufacturing
Solar panels and sustainable solutions are ideal business partners for factories and manufacturers due to their typically large roof spaces, high energy usage, and ever-growing energy bills. From small factories and industrial units to big brand manufacturers, implementing solar PV and other sustainable solutions could lead to significant financial benefits for your business.
Energy consumption has become a key area for manufacturing businesses to assess due to the ever-increasing business overheads. With the current energy market being unstable and utility prices rising year on year, more and more companies are turning to solar panels for long-term solutions.
Many manufacturers are looking towards the future and seeking ways to reduce their carbon footprint while future-proofing their energy costs. Installing sustainable solutions can considerably reduce business overheads, improve efficiency, and increase the bottom line with significant savings on daytime electricity costs.
The higher the energy usage, the higher the savings, resulting in larger benefits sought, making the manufacturing sector a perfect case for solar solutions.
