Fleet expansion for Green Building Renewables with new Vanaways partnership
We’ve expanded out fleet to help reach more customers. As part of our ambitious journey towards becoming the UK’s leading installer of renewable and low carbon technologies, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Vanaways as our vehicle provider. With our sights set on full coverage by the end of 2025, this collaboration marks a significant step forward in our ongoing expansion.

A Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Growth
This partnership is the first to emerge from Vanaways’ new collaboration with Veriforce CHAS, which specialises in risk prevention, compliance, and supply chain services. Through this partnership, we have already saved £16k by acquiring our first four brand-new vehicles, complete with livery and additional extras.
Working closely with Hannah Pearson, Vanaways’ regional business development manager for the North and the Midlands, we plan to phase out all leased vehicles and pool cars and make additional purchases to support our expanding operations.
Expanding Our Fleet with Vanaways
We have begun our vehicle acquisitions with four Vauxhall Vivaro 1.5 Turbo D 120 Prime H1 vans. These vehicles will serve our engineers in York, Peterlee, and Doncaster, while another four will operate out of Colchester, Norwich, Daventry, and Oxford.
Our Managing Director Chris Delaney expressed the importance of this partnership:
“We are a fast-growing company with big ambitions. The demand for renewable and low carbon technology continues to increase as our domestic and commercial customers seek to improve the performance of their buildings and future-proof them for the 21st Century. Therefore, we need to have a fleet of vehicles that we can rely on and which help us to reach all our customers across the country.
“Our partnership with Vanaways will be a fundamental part of our growth as a company. Its options and its customer service have made the process of expanding our fleet an easy process. We look forward to working with them over the next few months and years to grow our fleet. They will play a fundamental role in helping to build our network and meet the expectations and needs of our customers.”
Looking Ahead with Confidence
Vanaways is experiencing impressive growth, having moved into new offices in Ham Green near the M5 at Bristol early last year. With a significant rise in turnover in 2023 and projections to deliver sales of more than 6,000 vehicles in 2024, Vanaways was recently listed at number 60 on The Sunday Times Hundred list of the UK’s fastest-growing companies.
Their extensive network of suppliers across the UK, free delivery, and a digitalised sales process enable quick fulfilment of fleet needs, making them an ideal partner for Green Building Renewables.
Hannah Pearson from Vanaways emphasised the importance of this partnership:
“Companies like Green Building Renewables which are undergoing periods of rapid growth need to avoid any hiccups which prevent their ability to meet customer demand. We know that businesses can become frustrated by the lack of available vehicle supply, and our business model is aimed at removing that obstacle.
“It’s been a pleasure to support Green Building Renewables with their immediate requirements and we look forward to being alongside them on the coming phases of their exciting business growth. We’d encourage other CHAS members to contact us to see the savings they can make with our partnership, alongside our speed of delivery and the personal touch that Vanaways provides.”
As we continue to expand and meet the growing demand for renewable energy solutions, we are confident that our partnership with Vanaways will play a crucial role in our success. We look forward to a prosperous journey together, driving sustainability and innovation across the UK.
