Who is Sarah Taylor?

A Manchester University graduate with a BA Honours in Media, Business Management, and IT, her professional journey began in Television & Film Production. For over 15 years, Sarah worked as a 2nd Assistant Director across diverse genres and production companies worldwide.

A pivot in 2013 led her to Macmillan Cancer Support, progressing to roles as a Learning and Development Project Officer and Cancer Support Operations Project Officer. The entrepreneurial call beckoned, and Sarah joined Go-Eco Renewables, a business co-founded by her brother John Gilham and our MD Chris Delaney.

Why did Sarah join Green Building Renewables?

Sarah’s experience predates the formation of Green Building Renewables. She was a critical member of the management team that rebranded to GBR. The allure of a new challenge and the chance to make a difference in a family business propelled her entry into Green Building Renewables during a dynamic phase in the industry.

Fun Fact:

Sarah played various cameo roles during her TV days, from Amanda Holden’s driving double to a clown on Channel 4’s Shameless, driving a Citroen 2CV.

Sarah is an avid traveller fascinated by history, culture, and exercise and cherishes quality time with my family.

Sarah possesses strong DIY skills, relishes problem-solving, and thrives on new challenges, which makes her the perfect fit for someone helping put together a fast growing nationwide renewables business.

Career Highlights:

Her notable achievements include Managing the rebrand and integrating ten businesses (and counting), implementing the new CRM tool Odoo across all GBR sites, and securing consumer finance for the business.
